To perform a prayer stretch, we’re going to start with a tabletop or a counter or your bedside prayer. We’re going to put our arms up, shoulder-width apart, so my thumbs are facing the ceiling. I’m going to sink into my hips first, keeping my arms straight, and then I’m going to push my chest through my arms.
