Pigeon Stretch
A Step by Step Guide for the Pigeon Stretch
Pigeon Stretch Video Transcript
To perform a pigeon stretch, we’re going to be on the floor. I’m going to bring my front leg out in front of me at a 90-degree angle, as much as I can, while this back leg is here. I’m going to stretch this back leg as straight as I can, while getting this front foot in a 90-degree angle. And then I can put my tush on the floor, try to get my body over my knee.
If you continue to experience pain after consistently self-massaging and stretching, chances are you need a soft-tissue specialist to get in there in a way that you just can’t do on your own. Soft-tissue specialists in our area, you can find them at www.activerelease.com. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office or message us on Instagram or Facebook.
