Bicep and Front Deltoid Stretch

Step by Step Guide

Video Transcript

We’re going to go through two ways to stretch the bicep and the front delt. So the first way… Well, both ways, we’re going to use the band. The first way we’re going to take the band, and similar to the lat stretch, we’re going to put our hand in the band, and then hold it so I get a good, firm grasp on it, and then I’m going to rotate away from it, turning my palm down. And then I’m going to stand up nice and tall. My elbow is straight, not bent, and then I’m going to lean forward, or walk forward, until I feel a stretch in the front of the shoulder here. Okay? That’s the first way to do it.

The second way to do it now is if I ease up on it, and I’m actually going to rotate my hand again, and tuck my elbow behind my back. So now my elbow is bent and it’s behind my back. And then I’m going to step forward, and as I’m stepping forward, I should feel a stretch in the front of the shoulder again.
